We are seeking  the provision of Radiology services for a government contract opportunity to provide services for federal inmates at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Dublin, and Satellite Prison Camp (SCP) located in Dublin, California.  The FCI/SCP Dublin houses female incarcerated inmates.  

Available Positions:
  1. X-Ray Technician. 
  2. Mammography Technician 
  3. Ultrasound Technician 
The Contractors shall perform all services at FCI/SCP Dublin, Health Services Department, 5701 8th Street Camp-Park, Dublin, CA 94568. 

Work Schedule:
  1. The X-Ray Technician will normally perform 24 hours per week, not to exceed 30 hours per week. 
  2. The Mammography Technician will normally perform 6 sessions per week, not to exceed 24 sessions per week.
  3. The Ultrasound Technician will normally perform 6 sessions per week, not to exceed 12 sessions per week.
The day could be any day Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. 
Work hours will generally be between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
Services will be scheduled by the Health Services Administration and hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of FCI Dublin.

The Contractor shall provide professional services, in the field of General radiology; Mammography; and Ultrasound services for inside consultations.  The Contractor shall perform screening and diagnostic X-ray, mammography and ultrasound services.  Emergency diagnostic services shall also be performed by the contractor when deemed necessary. The Clinical Director and/or Bureau of Prisons’ (BOP) Physicians(s) will retain professional responsibility for all patients referred to radiology.

ATTIRE:
The contractor is expected to wear professional clothing while on duty (scrub uniforms are approved). The attire worn shale also be appropriate for the correctional environment in which the contractor’s employee will be performing.
                                         
ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE AND/OR SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

The contract Radiology and Mammogram technician employee shall be fully licensed to perform radiological procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
The employee should also be licensed by the state of California, and possess diagnostic radiology, and mammographic radiologic technician credentials within the license.
He/She must have at least one or more years of experience. 
The Contractor must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. 
The contractor must possess and submit with their quotation, evidentiary documentation of their graduation from an accredited school of radiology technology.

The Ultrasound technician shall have a current certification from The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in in their chosen field of expertise that permits them to practice and to perform ultrasound services.  The contractor must have at least one (1) year experience as an ultrasound technician in a clinical setting.  The individual/contractor shall provide written documentation or certification (copy of all diplomas and/or certification) that permits them to perform the services in this statement of work for the duration of the contract.
