Global Health Care Group is seeking a Mental Health Consultant to provide services  for the student body at the  Philadelphia Job Corps Center.

Facility Information: Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 25 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. Job Corps Centers have classroom facilities, hands on trade education, cafeteria, health services, recreational facilities, and dormitories. During the students’ enrollment (typically during 8 months), Job Corps assists students in attaining and maintaining optimal health by providing basic on-Center health services to include promotion, prevention, assessment, intervention, and follow-up care. In addition, Job Corps strives to educate students regarding the connection between maintaining a healthy lifestyle and being employable.
Basic Scope of Work (includes but it is not limited to): The emphasis of the Mental Health and Wellness Program must be on prevention, early detection, identification of mental health problems, and helping students overcome barriers to employability. The program utilizes an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) approach, which includes short-term counseling with an employability focus, referral to center support groups, and crisis intervention. The CMHP is part of the Health and Wellness team and collaborates closely with the Health and Wellness Manager, Counseling Manager, TEAP specialist, Disability Coordinator, and Center Physician.
Breakdown of Center Mental Health Provider Responsibilities: 
1. Assessment  and Care Management.
2. Mental Health Promotion and Education
3. Staff Development and Consultation
4. Intervention and Treat
5. Ongoing Education, Support and Building Job Corps Community

Work Schedule: The mental health Consultant will work  Monday to Friday between 8 am to 5 pm for a maximum of 29 hours per week. Services are required 50 weeks per year. 
Period of Performance: 04/01/2019 to 01/31/2022, which consists of a base period of performance and 2 option years to be exercise at the Job Corps discretion. 

Position Requirements/Qualifications:
Valid licenses to practice in the state or commonwealth
Valid DEA license, if applicable (see DEA License section under Terms and Conditions)
