We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for a contract position for The Office of the Attorney General.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: The Office of the Attorney General , 28 Liberty Street, REF, New York, NY 10005
Work Shifts: 7.5 hours per day, Monday - Friday.

Duties: Check filings for deficiencies, email submitting attorneys regarding deficiencies, when deficiencies are cured enter data in excel spreadsheet and Oracle database, upload digital files to shared drive, print necessary paperwork, endorse checks, compile filing and distribute to attorneys for review Key Skills & Abilities: detail-oriented, neat handwriting, organized, able to catch errors, proofread work, able to manage a large volume of digital and paper files, able to manage high volumes of work while keeping track of deadlines, must be able to work quickly and accurately, able to follow 20+ page procedure guide, double checks work, ask questions when clarification is needed, must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Competencies:
​Education Preferred: Bachelor Degree
Able to work independently
Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Must be able to work quickly and accurately,
Able to follow 20+ page procedure guide,
Double checks work and ask questions when clarification is needed,
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
