Global Health Care Group is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to provide services on-site for the inmate population incarcerated at the Metropolitan Correctional Center New York, Located in NY.  
Available Position: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist).

Facility Information: The Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in New York City is an administrative facility housing male and female pre-trial and holdover inmates. MCC New York is located in lower Manhattan, adjacent to Foley Square and across the street from the Federal courthouse.

Work Schedule: The Radiologic Technologist will work 32 hours per week, working 4 or 5 days per week (negotiable). 
Description of Services (includes but it is not limited to): Complete x-ray studies ordered by the medical staff, prepare and send x-rays to the radiologist for interpretation and assure x-rays and reports are returned from the radiologist, complete and file all x-ray reports and other miscellaneous reports, assist the Health Services Administrator in the daily maintenance of equipment, monitor supply levels, and conduct quality assurance checks on the x-ray equipment as required.  The Radiologist Technologist will also perform any additional services, as required by the Health Services Administrator that are normally performed in the commercial scope of practice for this service, which may include administrative and clerical tasks.  The technologist will participate in maintaining appropriate records of services provided to the inmate population. The technologist must be able to x-ray at least three (3) patients per hour.
Period of Performance: This is an ongoing assignment.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
License: Must possess a certification issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
The Facility also requires a NY state license in addition to the ARRT certification.
Certification: Must also be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology school or program and be a high school graduate.
