We are seeking a Public Relations Manager/Public Information Officer for an available contract position at the Clean Energy Siting program in New York City.

Available Position:  Public Relations Manager/Public Information Officer

Client Facility: Clean Energy Siting program., 1359 Broadway, New York, NY 10018

Work Shift: 7.5 or 8 hours per day, Mon-Fri., between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Assignment Duration: 09/04/2018 until 09/04/2019

What we are looking for in the ideal candidate: 
We are seeking a creative, independent and self-motivated individual to assist the Clean Energy Siting program team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, developing and managing meetings and workshops with local governments and help develop strategies that overcome clean energy market barriers and accelerate the scale and penetration of clean energy in New York.
This position will require the ability to work independently as well as to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Communication to both the general public and clean energy industry experts will be required. 

Specific Tasks:
1) Data Entry
2) External Communication
3) Self-Management
4) Conduct outreach and develop relationships with local government officials.
5) Set up workshops and meetings with local officials
6) Input data into Salesforce
7) Support team as needed on strategy development
8) Handle logistics surrounding workshops across the state
