We are looking for a Financial Auditor, for a contract position in Albany, New York.

Position Title:   Auditor
Department:  Department of Health (DOH)
Office: Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP)
Division: Division of Employee and Program Support (DEPS)
Location: One Commerce Plaza, Room 1470, Albany, NY  12237

Work Shifts: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Assignment Duration: 10/14/2018 to 10/14/2020

Position Description:

The employee will assist the Office of Health Insurance (OHIP), Division of Employee and Program Support (DEPS) with tasks including but not limited to:
  • Assemble contractual documentation for submission and approval;
  • Review and analyze contractual documentation for accuracy;
  • Routinely track and monitor contract statuses;
  • Provide administrative support to DEPS Contracts Unit staff; and
  • Report on contract statuses to OHIP management.
Additional Skill Level, Experience or Other Requirements:
The preferred candidate should have the following skills and attributes: 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Strong verbal and written skills;
  • Strong analytical capabilities;
  • Prior work experience in governmental contract management, contracting, purchasing; and
  • Experience in NYS’s Statewide Financial System (SFS).
