We are seeking a
Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant for an available contract opportunity to provide on-site Dentist Services at the St. Louis Job Corps Center, located in St. Louis, MO.
 
Available Position: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
 
Place of Performance: St. Louis Corps Center, 4333 Good Fellow Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63120.
 
Facility Information: The St. Louis Job Corps Center is a 520 student residential training facility located at St. Louis, MO. The Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 25 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. Job Corps Centers have classroom facilities, hands on trade education, cafeteria, health services, recreational facilities, and dormitories. During the students’ enrollment (typically during 8 months), Job Corps assists students in attaining and maintaining optimal health by providing basic on-Center health services to include promotion, prevention, assessment, intervention, and follow-up care. In addition, Job Corps strives to educate students regarding the connection between maintaining a healthy lifestyle and being employable.
 
Work Schedule:  Part-time, 10.5 hours per week. Work will be performed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, at times and days mutually agreed upon by the Mental Health Consultant and the Center Director or designee. Services are required 50 weeks per years.
 
Period of Performance: from October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019 (subject to adjustment).

Basic Scope of Work (includes but it is not limited to): The Job Corp assists students in attaining and maintaining optimal health by providing basic on-Center health services to include promotion, prevention, assessment, intervention, and treatment with follow up care. These services include the development, implementation, and monitoring of the total oral health and wellness program. The purpose of the dental team is to assist students in maintaining optimal dental health. The NP or PA will support the Physician in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the total center health and wellness program, to help students become and stay employed, advising the Center Director and Wellness Services staff on all medical and health related matters and providing direct medical services to students.

  
Position Requirements/Qualifications 
Licenses/Certifications:
Must have an active NP or PA State license.
Must have current DEA certification if applicable.
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant school or program.
