We are seeking a qualified mental health consultant to provide on-site part-time Mental Health Services for the Cincinnati Job Corps Center, Cincinnati, OH.

Available Position: Clinical/Counseling Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker.

Place of Performance:  Cincinnati Job Corps Center, 1409 Western Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45214.

Work Schedule: Part-time, approximately 18 hours per week. Work will be performed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, at times and days mutually agreed upon by the Dentist and the Center Director or designee. Services are required 50 weeks per year. This number is based upon the PRH requirement of a minimum of 6 hours per 100 students.
Period of Performance: September 1, 2018 to May 31, 2023, renewed  on an annual basis.

Background:  Job Corps is a U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA) program.  Job Corps is designed to assist young people who need and can benefit from the wide-range of services provided at a Job Corps Center.  Services include the following: basic education, High School Diploma (HSD) program; General Educational Development (GED); vocational skills training; residential living program; healthcare; and related support services.  The comprehensive combination of training and support services is designed to help each student become a responsible and productive citizen.  Student populations range from 100 to over 300 enrollments depending on the Center’s On Board Strength (OBS).  Job Corps is a self-paced program: therefore, a student’s length of enrollment varies.  Students may remain in the program for up to two years, but the average length of enrollment is approximately eight months. 
Overview of Responsibilities:
The emphasis of the Mental Health and Wellness Program must be on prevention, early detection, identification of mental health problems, and helping students overcome barriers to employability. The program utilizes an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) approach, which includes short-term counseling with an employability focus, referral to center support groups, and crisis intervention. The CMHP is part of the Health and Wellness team and collaborates closely with the Health and Wellness Manager, Counseling Manager, TEAP specialist, Disability Coordinator, and Center Physician.

Must have the applicable state license at the level of a Clinical/Counseling Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker.
Must provide a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration if applicable.
Must have current Malpractice Insurance.
Education: Must provide copies (images) of diplomas and certificates.
