GHG is looking for Radiologic Technicians to provide services to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Federal Correctional Complex Terre Haute in Indiana.

Facility Background: The Terre Haute Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) consists of FCI Terre Haute - A medium security Federal Correctional Institution and USP Terre Haute - A high security Federal Correctional Institution.
 
Work Schedule:  The work schedule will normally consist of two visits per month per technician and will not exceed 8 hours per technician per day.  Specific dates and times of visits will be determined  mutually between the contractor and the Health Services Administrator.  Hours of work must be during normal work days, Monday through Friday, excluding official government holidays and the hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Consultants must be available for the Clinical Director for telephone consultation.  If, on request of the Clinical Director an emergency evaluation is necessary, the consultant will be paid for the cost of service based on the fee schedule. The contractor will need to perform up to, but not limited to, 75 studies per month for a total not exceeding 775 studies per fiscal year, unless otherwise stated by the Clinical Director or the Health Services Administrator.
 
Basic Scope of Work (includes but it is not limited to):  
A. Provide Ultrasound/Echocardiogram services- to include taking, processing, and submit interpretation  of films. The interpretation  should be a typed report and faxed to FCC Terre Haute Health Services Unit the next business day.
B.   Provide IVP services- to include performing and conducting intravenous pyelogram and submit IVP interpretation.  Interpretation  must be on a typed report faxed to FCC Terre Haute Health Services Unit the next business day.                                                                                                                              
C.    Provide EEG Services-to include performing and conducting and submit interpretation  of electroencephalogram. The interpretation  must be on a typed report faxed to FCC Terre Haute the next business day.
D.  Abnormal results/interpretation   shall be telephoned to the Clinical Director upon receipt and interpretation of the films and/studies.
E.    Direct entries into the inmates' medical record by the contractor are not permitted.  Each patient encounter will be documented using an official consultation form (SF-513).
F.    Contractor shall be escorted but not supervised by Health Services Staff.
 
Position Requirements/Qualifications
Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
Must be licensed in the State of Indiana.
Current Radiology/Ultrasound Technologist certification (ARRT - ARDMS)
The technologist   will  be familiar   with  managing  and supervising   a  hospital  based Ultrasound   Services  Department regarding  FDA, OSHA, ACA, and AAAHC.
