Global Health Care Group is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to provide services for the inmate population  incarcerated  at the Federal Correctional Complex (hereinafter  referred to as FCC) Pollock,  Louisiana.
Available Position: Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Place of Performance: The services will be performed in the Health Services Department for the general inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex, Pollock, Louisiana 71467.
Facility Information:  The United States Penitentiary (USP) in Pollock, Louisiana, is a high security institution housing male offenders. This institution is part of the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Pollock. An adjacent satellite prison camp houses minimum security male offenders. FCC Pollock is located in central Louisiana and is surrounded by the Kisatchie National Forest in southeastern Grant Parish, Louisiana.  The facility is situated approximately 15 miles north of Alexandria, Louisiana.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week,  with a minimum  of 6 hours a day, normally between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. The anticipated  schedule includes a 30 minute  non-paid lunch break. The schedule may be adjusted  to meet the pharmacy  service needs mutually agreed  between  the contractor  and the COR. 
Description of Services (includes but it is not limited to): Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures. Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases. Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician’s requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions. Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation. Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves and inventory maintenance.
Period of Performance:  five (5) years.
Position Requirements/Qualifications
At a minimum, the contractor must have a medical/technical background obtained through education or on- the-job training in the pharmaceutical field and be a high school graduate or equivalent.
The contractor must possess a valid State Board of Pharmacy issued technician license or training permit.
