Work Location: The United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee

Work Hours: Work will be performed on a full time (40 hours per week) basis as applicable over a five-day work week, with Federal holidays provided in accordance with the Service Contract Act.  Overtime is not authorized.

Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all clerical and support services required as the receptionist of the USAO/WDTN.

Typical assignments include:
Provide administrative and clerical support on a daily basis.
Field phone calls 
Receive visitors 
Receive and disseminate mail 
Perform general office procedures pertaining to receipt of packages, transcripts, and other deliveries. 
Prepare and submit witness reimbursement paperwork.
Occasional scheduling of internal conference room reservations and government vehicle reservations.
Maintain front desk log of discovery/materials to be picked up

Mandatory knowledge and skills: 
Must have a minimum of two years of experience.
Must have experience interacting with the public
Must have experience in scheduling appointments
Must be able to answer inquiries regarding the office, provide administrative information and assistance concerning witnesses or AUSAs.
The contractor must have good communication and organizational skills, the ability to deliver highest quality work under pressure, and knowledge of software used by the USAO (or the ability to acquire knowledge about the USAO’s computer systems).
The contractor must have the ability to prove U.S. citizenship and that the contractor personnel meet the Department of Justice residency requirements.
