Background: Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) provides a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient cancer treatment services, as well as a wide variety of cancer research, education, and prevention activities, on a local, national, and international scale.  From its inception, RPCI’s mission – to understand, prevent and cure cancer – has remained consistent with the vision of its founder. RPCI was among the first to be designated a “Comprehensive Cancer Center” by the National Cancer Institute in 1974, and has held that designation ever since.  RPCI is also a charter member of the prestigious National Comprehensive Cancer Network (“NCCN”), an alliance of the nation’s leading cancer centers.  Many RPCI faculty members serve on the NCCN panels that create the Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology – the internationally recognized standards for clinical policy in oncology and the most comprehensive, most frequently updated clinical practice guidelines available in any area of medicine.

Contract Term: 3 years

Scope of Work:
  • Develop test effort estimates based on requirements
  • Develop test strategies, and test plans, for both manual and automated testing as well as for multiple releases
  • Participate in requirements and design walkthroughs
  • Analyze requirements, aiding in the creation of test cases and test scripts for the testing of the system
  • Create test scripts based on documented requirements
  • Execute test scripts documenting both passed and failed tests, performing root cause analysis, and defect management within the HP ALM tool
  • Identify test scripts for automation
  • Create and maintain test data
  • Create and review detailed defect reports, facilitating defect triage and meetings, to aid in the investigation and resolution of the defects by the development team
  • Acts as a documenter supporting the requirements analyst
